Woodgroup Industrial Services Scaffolding can install temporary roofs over any structure to provide a weather proof outer skin. This enables work to continue on the project regardless of the weather outside.

Temporary roofs

All our temporary roof structures, of all sizes, come with full design and calculations in place prior to commencing the erection of the structure. This gives our clients full view of what is planned and the sequence in which it will be carried out.

Smaller temporary roof structures are usually erected using Tube & Fittings and either 450mm or 750mm Aluminum beams. 

For medium to large temporary roof structures we prefer to use the Haki system. This system allows safe installation by feeding the sheeting through runners from the scaffold on either side of the structure.

Temporary roof installations

The majority of temporary roof is put together in sections on the ground and then lifted into place via a crane. This reduces the amount of working at height and also enables an expedited and more cost effective approach.

Encapsulation of the sides with Shrinkwrap then gives a weatherproof finish to the structure. Work can then continue through all seasons without fear of any stoppages due to inclement weather.
